Tom (on the left) recently took over as the band's musical director from Chip (on the left).
Tom has been involved in community bands for over 40 years. He recently completed his Bachelor of Music on Trombone and Euphonium with honours in conducting under Associate Professor Luke Dollman at the Elder Conservatorium. He is continuing his studies as a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide, researching the use of Market Shaping to improve the sustainability of global Performing Arts organisations.
Yearly membership of Enfield Brass is $110 for adults and $55 for juniors.
Membership entitles you to the provision of an instrument and uniform. Every year awards are given to the to junior and senior members based on merit.
Rehearsals are held weekly on Wednesday evenings starting at 7.30pm sharp, running for two and half hours with no break.
Parents, children and carers of students are welcome to be present at rehearsals which are conducted at the band room at the Klemzig Community Hall, 232 North East Road, Klemzig SA 5087.
